Multiple-catch traps (automatic)

Multiple-catch traps (curiosity traps) are designed specifically to catch mice automatically.

These traps are perfect option to control mouse infestations. There are two types of multiple-catch traps on the market today –

  • Wind-up-style traps basically use a spring-loaded trap platform to flip mice into a holding chamber.
  • Low-profile traps use a trap door to drop mice into a holding compartment.

If you can place them correctly, both the trap will catch mice effectively. These traps usually made from plastic, which allows you to see whether there are any mouse. Also it has removable plastic trays and covers which help these traps easy to clean.

How to Catch a Mouse

  • Choosing and Baiting Traps – As there are several traps available in the market. You can select any of them to catch mouse in your house. You can select either wooden snap trap or glue trap. Also multiple catch trap will be effective if there are huge number of mouse in your house.
  • Pick a bait – In your wooden snap trap, you can use cheese, grains, fruit, and seeds etc. Also Peanut butter mice love to eat. You can use high-fat, high-protein food as bait in the trap such as bacon and chocolate.
  • Bait a trap – Don’t use too much bait in the trap. You should keep your bait to the size of a pea and place it firmly inside the trap.
  • Find a suitable location where you think the mice will be – Often mice like enclosed dark spaces, such as in a cupboard or under furniture. They sometimes stick near walls when scurrying about. You may try to find rat droppings or smell urine.
