  • If you are living in coastal area near ocean, then the salty air with air particles can damage car body. So it will be ideal if you can wash your car weekly or bi-weekly to prevent rust and corrosion.
  • But if you are from rural area then you may need to wash your car more frequently. In rural areas you may encounter more dirt roads and mud. You can wash your car once in a week.

Driving Conditions:

  • If you are driving daily then you need to wash your car in every two weeks.
  • And if you are driving in a harsh weather conditions, such as heavy rain, snow, or road salt in winter, washing your car weekly is recommended to prevent buildup of grime and salt that can cause rust.

  • During winter months, especially in regions where road salt is used, washing your car weekly or bi-weekly is important to remove salt and prevent corrosion.

  • If you are parking your car in a closed garage, then you might only need to wash it every three to four weeks.
  • Cars which parked outside open area often needed more wash due to bird droppings, tree sap, and weather conditions. You may need to wash more frequently like once in a week.
